The Broodslayers guild supports the Broodslayers Official PW (persistent world), a place where guild members can meet to role-play and seek out quests. The following downloads are available. Any hak packs noted are required. Portrait packs are optional, but you are encouraged to download them in order to see everyone's portrait properly. Each pack has up to 5 different portraits (each portrait has 5 required .tga files). Voicesets are also optional.

(right click on link and select "save target as" from the menu or just click on the link)

To install the voicesets, either use WinZip to unpack the sound filesinside into your Neverwinter Nights "override" folder -- this folder was created by NWN when you installed the game. If you do not have WinZip but are using Windows XP, you may also open the zipped folder (the zip file) through the operating system and copy the contents (highlighting them all and using Ctrl-C to copy) then paste those contents (use Ctrl-V to paste) into the "override" folder inside your NWN game installation. If the pack has an updated note to the right of it, you will need to download it even if you already have prior to that date. When you go to copy the new ones down over the old ones it is OK to replace then (if Windows asks you).

Note: In addition, there is one called Barbarian, but is another "Ranger" voice type when you call it up in the character creation voiceset options in the game.

This new set has all of the game voicesets for NPCs, some monsters, Minsc, plus this new barbarian voice set.

Introduction
------------
This is a custom voice set that players can select when creating new characters. This particular set is made using a collection of Minsc's sounds which are taken from the original Baldur's Gate series (both BG1, TOSC, BG2, and TOB). In case you don't know about Minsc, he was a humorous chaotic good ranger NPC who frequently spoke of his beloved pet hamster (named "Boo") that he kept in his inventory. "Go for the eyes, Boo! Go for the eyes!"

Installation
------------
1) If the \override\soundset.2da file exists, then rename it to soundset.2da.bak.

2) Extract the contents of the nwn-minsc_voiceset.rar into your Neverwinter Nights installation directory.

Uninstallation
--------------
1) Delete *\override\soundset.2da, and if the file soundset.2da.bak exists, rename it to soundset.2da

2) Delete all the files in your *\override\ directory that start with "vs_frminscm". There should be a total of 50 such files.

How to use the voice set
------------------------
Just create a new character and select the voice set named "Ranger, Warden".
